The Dela Cruz reunion had been planned and cancelled twice since 2019. When it finally happened — sixty-two family members, four generations, a beach resort in Mactan — everyone arrived like they were making up for lost time.
Sand, sea, and a programme that went from morning orienteering to a late-night beach bonfire, with a family video show that had Lola reaching for her handkerchief before the second slide.
