The Peter & Mary Chronicle
A big-hearted celebration
Peter & Mary Are Married
After eight years together, Peter & Mary are married — amid a joyful crowd of everyone they love, at last at a ridge-top estate garden in Tagaytay.
By the Setnayan Desk · Tagaytay
It took a ridge-top garden to hold them all. One hundred and fifty guests filled an estate lawn in Tagaytay as Peter and Mary were married beneath an arch of petals and lanterns, two large families finally folded into one very long table.
The day was, fittingly, a feast. Lechon held court at the center of a reception that spilled across the garden, and the toasts came from every direction — parents, ninongs, cousins who had known one or the other since childhood. No one was a stranger by dessert.
Late in the evening both sets of parents were coaxed onto the dance floor to their old favorite, and for a few minutes the whole garden simply watched. A full table was always the point; on this day, it overflowed.
“To all 150 of you who filled this garden — salamat.”
