About Setnayan

  • What is Setnayan?

Setnayan (SET-na-yan, from Tagalog "Set na 'yan." — "that's all set.") is the Philippines-first wedding and life-events software platform. Built and operated in the Philippines for Filipino weddings. Couples start free on the planning workspace; verified Filipino wedding vendors list with 0% commission on bookings.

  • How much does Setnayan cost?

Couples start free (planning workspace: schedule, budget, guest list, seat plan, mood board, plus marketplace browse with a match preview). The paid planner is Setnayan AI — a ₱499 / 28-day subscription that stays active until your wedding day, then ends. Individual services retail ₱999–₱7,999. Vendor side: Verified is free during launch; Pro ₱6,000 and Enterprise ₱10,000 per 28-day prepaid block. 0% commission on vendor bookings — Setnayan never takes a cut.

  • Is Setnayan free for couples?

Starting is free — schedule, budget, guest list, seat plan, and mood board are free with every account, plus marketplace browse and a preview of your vendor matches. Premium tools like Setnayan AI (₱499 / 28 days, active until your wedding day), the Event Website (₱1,999), and premium RSVP are optional paid software. You only pay for what you choose to add.

  • Does Setnayan take commission on vendor bookings?

No. 0% commission on every vendor booking, every tier. Setnayan never touches money between couples and vendors. Revenue comes from software purchases by couples (planning tiers plus services like Papic, Panood, and the Editorial Website) and vendor subscriptions (Pro and Enterprise, 28-day or annual).

  • What is Setnayan AI?

Setnayan's assisted-planning tier, ₱499 per 28-day cycle — a subscription that runs until your event date. Matches, sorts, and cross-references vendors against your date, budget, venue, guest count, religion, and reviews — and walks you through every decision from venue lock through thank-you cards, with religion-adaptive guidance and hard-floor deadlines specific to Filipino weddings (Pre-Cana, marriage license validity windows, sponsor coordination, etc.).

  • Does Setnayan support Filipino wedding customs?

Yes. Supports seven ceremony types (Catholic, Civil, INC, Christian, Muslim, Cultural, Mixed) and seven venue settings (banquet hall, garden, beach, destination, heritage, outdoor tent, civil registrar). 20 Filipino wedding role tiers in the guest list including principal sponsors, candle/veil/cord/coin sponsors, ninang, ninong, and bearers. Multi-faith vendor compatibility tagging across 192 vendor sub-categories.

  • What languages does Setnayan support?

English (primary across the marketing site and dashboards). Tagalog (TL) on dashboard surfaces. Cebuano (CEB) localization on the marketing site is on the V1.1 roadmap.

  • Where does Setnayan operate?

Philippines — Metro Manila (Quezon City, Makati, Pasig, Taguig, Manila), Cebu, Davao, Tagaytay, Iloilo, Baguio, Pampanga, Cavite, Batangas, Laguna, Bulacan, and any city where Filipino wedding vendors serve. Pilot launches 2026-06-01. Public launch 2026-12-01.

  • Does Setnayan have a mobile app?

Web-first responsive site that works on iOS Safari and Chrome Android. Native iOS and Android shells via Expo are on the V1.5 roadmap.

  • How are vendors verified on Setnayan?

Vendors complete a business-legitimacy check plus a short video call with a Setnayan admin. Verification is free during launch — no listing fee and no badge fee.

  • What is Pakanta?

A custom Filipino-style song written for the couple. ₱2,499 one-time per event. Setnayan's music team writes original lyrics around the couple's love story, records the track, and delivers it for the ceremony or reception.

  • What is Papic?

Guest-side photo capture for your wedding. Two purchase modes: Papic Guest (from ₱2,999, scales with guest count — disposable-camera mode for general guests, 24 photos plus 10 5-second videos per guest, tagged to each guest by QR so everyone gets their own) and Papic 5 Seats (₱2,999, five seats for designated paparazzi friends and family with unlimited photos plus unlimited videos for 5 hours).

  • What is Panood?

Live streaming for your wedding, embedded directly on your event website. ₱2,499 per day. Guests and family who couldn't attend in person can watch the ceremony and reception live without leaving Setnayan.

  • What is Pakulay?

The visual mood board for your wedding — included free with every couple account. Three pillars: palette (colors), location feel (venue look + atmosphere), and dress codes (attire direction by role tier). Pakulay finalizes once and downstream services (catering, florals, attire, stationery) pull from the same locked vision.

  • How does Setnayan handle my privacy?

RA 10173 (Data Privacy Act of the Philippines) compliant. Guest list and event details are never publicly shared without your explicit opt-in. Real-wedding editorials publish 30 days post-event only with explicit couple consent. National Privacy Commission registration in progress. DPO contact at dpo@setnayan.com.

  • How do I contact Setnayan support?

Send a message via the contact form below on this page — pick your role (couple, vendor, guest, or admin) and we'll route it to the right team. Response within 24 hours during business days. Privacy-related requests reach the DPO directly at dpo@setnayan.com.

  • When does Setnayan launch?

Pilot 2026-06-01 with a small family + friends cohort exercising the full payment cycle on real weddings. Public launch 2026-12-01 alongside the founder's wedding (December 18, 2026) — the first event shipped through the platform end-to-end.

Got an invite?

  • How to open your Setnayan invite

Scan the QR code on your invitation card with your phone's camera. It opens your personal page at setnayan.com/e/[the-couple-slug]/g/[your-code]. Bookmark it — that's your one place for everything about the event (schedule, venue, RSVP, your seat).

  • Meal preferences and dietary notes

If the couple is asking about meals (regular, vegetarian, halal, etc.), pick yours when you RSVP. It feeds into the caterer's count so there's something for you on the day. There's a free-text note for allergies or "I cannot have shellfish".

On the day

  • Find your seat

From T-1 hour on the wedding day, your personal page shows a 'Your table' card with the table number, a small venue map, and (if uploaded) a seat photo. No need to ask the host — open the page and head straight there.

  • What's happening right now

The Live schedule card auto-advances as the day moves — ceremony, cocktails, dinner, dances, send-off. You always know what's next and roughly when. Available T-1 hour to T+8 hours.

  • Share photos with the couple

If the couple has Photo Wall enabled, your phone becomes a photo uploader. Upload from your camera roll or take a new shot — it lands in the couple's gallery for everyone to enjoy. Optional and you can delete anything you uploaded.

Papic — candid photos

  • What is Papic?

Papic turns your guests' phones into candid cameras for your wedding. A few friends you pick (your photo crew) shoot freely all night, and — if you add it — every guest can snap photos too. Every shot lands in your private gallery, and each guest can find the photos they're in. No app to install; it all runs in the browser.

  • How do I turn on Papic and invite my photo crew?

Open your dashboard → Studio → Papic. Your first 5 guest cameras are free to try. Pick how many crew seats you want, then share each seat's link with a friend (one link per friend). They open it on their phone, sign in, and their phone becomes a candid camera bound to your wedding. You can re-issue a seat to someone else anytime.

  • How do my photos get matched to the right guests?

Two ways, both automatic. (1) Face matching: guests who add a selfie are recognized in candid shots, and those photos appear in their 'Photos of you'. (2) QR scan: your crew can scan a guest's invitation QR or a table sign to mark who's in a shot. Either way, every photo reaches your gallery — tagged or not. Face matching is private and per-wedding: a guest's face data is never shared or reused across events, and it only works with the guest's consent.

  • Where do I find and download all my Papic photos?

Dashboard → Studio → Papic → Gallery. Every candid from your crew and guests is there — filter by 'Photos of us', videos, or untagged. Save any photo to your phone with one tap, or use 'Download all' to pull the whole gallery as a zip. You can also connect Google Drive to auto-sync everything to your own Drive.

  • Guest: how do I take candid photos for the couple?

If the couple turned on guest cameras, open your invitation link and tap 'Be a candid camera'. Point and shoot — every photo lands straight in the couple's gallery in real time. No sign-in, no app. You have a set number of shots; the counter shows how many you have left. After a shot you can also tell the couple the story behind it.

  • Guest: how do I make sure I get my photos? (add your face)

When you RSVP, tap 'Add your photo' and take one selfie (you'll be asked to agree first — it's optional). That lets the candid photos of you find their way to you automatically, under 'Photos of you' on your page. On the wedding day you can also add it from the 'Add your face' card if you skipped it. No selfie? You'll still get any photo where the crew scans your invitation QR.

  • Guest: where do I find the photos I'm in?

On the wedding day (from about an hour before it starts), open your personal invitation page and look for 'Photos of you — so far'. As the crew and guests shoot, the photos you're in collect there through the day — and they're yours to keep afterward. You show up there once you've added a selfie, or once someone scans your invitation QR onto a photo.

  • Crew: I was asked to shoot — how does it work?

The couple sent you a seat link. Open it on your phone, sign in, and tap to claim your seat — your phone is now a candid camera for their wedding. Shoot photos and up-to-5-second clips freely; everything uploads to their gallery automatically. To mark who's in a shot, tap 'Tag who's in it' and hold a guest's place-card QR or a table sign in frame — no typing. If you don't tag, the photo still reaches the couple.
