Setnayan (SET-na-yan, from Tagalog "Set na 'yan." — "that's all set.") is the Philippines-first life-events platform — one free account to plan each occasion, run the day, and keep it for life. Weddings are the deepest surface, and the same tools run debuts, christenings, birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, reunions, corporate events, wakes and more. Planning is free with no guest limit; couples book verified Filipino suppliers at 0% commission and pay them directly; and everything a couple creates gathers into one living memory (Alaala) they keep.
How much does Setnayan cost?
Couples start free (planning workspace: schedule, budget, guest list, seat plan, mood board, plus marketplace browse with a match preview). The paid planner is Setnayan AI, a one-time purchase that unlocks the full planner with access through your wedding day. Individual services and the Setnayan AI rate are listed on the Pricing page. Supplier side: Verified is free during launch, with Pro and Enterprise subscription tiers billed per 28-day prepaid block. 0% commission on supplier bookings — couples pay their suppliers directly and Setnayan never sits between them at checkout. Is Setnayan free for couples?
Starting is free, with no card and no guest limit. The schedule, budget, guest list, seat plan and its 3D walkthrough, mood board, RSVP with a QR code for every guest, and the Event Hub with unlimited RSVP are all free with every account, plus marketplace browse and a preview of your supplier matches. Does Setnayan take commission on supplier bookings?
No. Couples pay 0% commission on every booking — they pay their suppliers directly, and Setnayan never touches that money. Suppliers pay 0% commission on every tier too. Separately, a supplier pays Setnayan a booking fee only on couples Setnayan introduces: the first 5 are free, a supplier's own clients are always free, and the fee is never added to what a couple pays. What is Setnayan AI?

Does Setnayan support Filipino wedding customs?
Yes. Supports seven ceremony types (Catholic, Civil, INC, Christian, Muslim, Cultural, Mixed) and seven venue settings (banquet hall, garden, beach, destination, heritage, outdoor tent, civil registrar). What is Pakanta?
A custom Filipino-style song written for the couple — a one-time per-event purchase (current price on setnayan.com/pricing). Setnayan's music team writes original lyrics around the couple's love story, records the track, and delivers it for the ceremony or reception.
What is Papic?
Candid photo (and short-video) capture for your event. A few friends you pick — your photo crew — shoot freely from their phones, and you can also let every guest snap photos too. Everyone opens a simple camera from a QR link (no app to install); every shot lands in your private gallery in real time and is matched to the right guests, so each person gets the photos they're in — and untagged photos still land (Papic never drops one). Clips run up to 10 seconds, and optional face-matching (only with each guest's consent) auto-sorts photos to the people in them. Your gallery stays online — keep the originals by downloading them or syncing to your own Google Drive. There's a free tier to try it; current prices are on setnayan.com/pricing.
What is Live Studio?
Live streaming for your wedding, embedded directly on your Event Hub — one unlock covers the whole event, unlimited streams (current rate on setnayan.com/pricing). Guests and family who couldn't attend in person can watch the ceremony and reception live without leaving Setnayan.
What is Pakulay?
The visual mood board for your wedding — included free with every couple account. Three pillars: palette (colors), location feel (venue look + atmosphere), and dress codes (attire direction by role tier). Pakulay finalizes once and downstream services (catering, florals, attire, stationery) pull from the same locked vision.
How does Setnayan handle my privacy?
RA 10173 (Data Privacy Act of the Philippines) compliant. Guest list and event details are never publicly shared without your explicit opt-in. How do I organize a wedding guest list with ninongs and ninangs?
Give each guest a role and let the list sort itself. Setnayan’s free guest list has more than 30 Filipino ceremony roles built in — principal sponsors (ninong and ninang), candle, veil, cord and coin sponsors, ring, bible and coin bearers, flower girl, maid or matron of honor, best man, bridesmaids, groomsmen, officiant, readers, and Nikah roles. The list orders itself bride first, then groom, then by role, and you can filter to just the sponsors, the wedding party or the bearers. Yes — on Setnayan both are free, with no guest limit. Where can I find verified Filipino wedding suppliers with no commission?
Setnayan’s marketplace lists Filipino suppliers who each passed a business-legitimacy check and a video call with a Setnayan admin, and it shows their real business name. Browsing is free and open to anyone. Couples pay 0% commission: you pay suppliers directly, and nothing you pay them comes back to Setnayan. Save two suppliers to compare them side by side — location, rating, services and distance from your venue — then message them from Setnayan, where a supplier sees your event’s name and date, never your email.
What is a free alternative to paid wedding website builders in the Philippines?
Setnayan’s Event Hub is free with unlimited RSVP. It holds your save-the-date, your RSVP, the day’s details — when, where, dress code, directions — and your love story, laid out like a magazine feature instead of a form. Guests RSVP with one tap and you see the count in real time beside your guest list and seat plan. The same Event Hub later carries your guest gallery and your livestream. Can I use Setnayan for a debut, christening or other event?

What happens if the wedding venue has no signal?
Your photos are safe. Papic saves every shot on the phone that took it and sends it by itself once the signal comes back, so a dropped connection never loses a photo. Your guest list, RSVPs and seat plan are all settled before the day. Live Studio is the one part that needs a working connection, because a livestream travels over the internet as it happens — check the venue’s signal or Wi-Fi before the day.
What if some guests, like a lola or ninong, don’t use smartphones?
They don’t need to. You can add every guest to the list yourself and record their RSVP for them, so your headcount and seat plan still include everyone. At the door, your coordinator finds a guest by typing their name — there is no QR they have to scan. Guests who do use a phone need no app and no account: the invitation, the RSVP and the photo camera all open in the browser from a link or a QR code.
Will Setnayan slow down when many guests upload photos at once?
Uploads are built to spread the load. Each phone shrinks its photos and videos before sending them, so guests send far less than the original file size and use less mobile data, and every file goes straight to storage rather than waiting in line behind one server. If a phone loses signal partway, the photo waits on that phone and sends when the connection returns.
How is Setnayan different from free wedding apps, Google Sheets or a shared Drive?
Everything the free tools do, Setnayan also does for free: a guest list with no limit (import your spreadsheet as CSV), RSVP, a seat plan, a budget in pesos and a schedule — in one account, where each part reads the same guest list, so a change in one place shows up everywhere. What a spreadsheet or a Drive link cannot do is run the day itself: your guests’ phones become one photo crew filling one gallery, and family abroad can watch the ceremony live. Getting started
Sign up as a couple
On the sign-up page, pick "Couple" as your account type, enter your email, and choose a password (≥ 8 characters). You'll land on the dashboard immediately — V1 auto-confirms accounts so you don't need to wait on a confirmation email. Once Resend SMTP is wired, real email verification returns.
Sign up as a supplier
Same form, pick "Vendor" instead. You'll land on /vendor-dashboard with a profile editor. Fill in your business name, services, and contact email. Couples find you by searching Setnayan and message you here — your email and phone are not shown on your public page.
Create your event
From /dashboard, click "Create event". Pick the event type (Weddings only in V1), enter a display name (this is what guests + suppliers see), and the date. You can edit everything later from the Invitation tab.
Event ID vs slug
Every event has a Setnayan ID like S89E-AB12CD3456 (used internally) and a public slug like maria-and-juan (used in your invitation URL). The slug is editable on the Invitation tab. Old slugs auto-redirect for 2 years, so links and QR codes already printed keep working.
Getting verified
How to get your DTI or SEC registration
This is proof your business is legally registered. Which one you need depends on how your business is set up. If you are a SOLE PROPRIETOR (just you, under a business name), register a Business Name with the DTI. It is done fully online and usually approved within minutes. 1. Go to the DTI Business Name Registration System: https://bnrs.dti.gov.ph 2. Search that your business name is available, then fill in your details and pick your territorial scope (Barangay, City, Regional, or National — a wider scope costs a bit more). 3. Pay the fee online. Download the DTI Business Name Certificate (PDF). If you are a CORPORATION or PARTNERSHIP, register with the SEC instead, through eSPARC: https://esparc.sec.gov.ph Once approved, download your SEC Certificate of Registration. Upload whichever certificate applies to you (PDF, JPG, or PNG, up to 15 MB). You only need one — DTI OR SEC, not both.
How to get your BIR Form 2303
BIR Form 2303 is your Certificate of Registration with the Bureau of Internal Revenue. It confirms you are registered to issue receipts and pay taxes. You get it AFTER your DTI or SEC registration. 1. Register your business with the BIR. You can start online through ORUS (Online Registration and Update System): https://orus.bir.gov.ph — or go in person to the Revenue District Office (RDO) that covers your business address. 2. Bring/submit your DTI or SEC certificate, a valid government ID, and proof of address. The BIR will tell you your tax type (most small suppliers are Non-VAT / Percentage Tax). 3. Once processed, the BIR issues Form 2303. Keep the original — you also need to register your official receipts. Upload a clear copy of Form 2303 (PDF, JPG, or PNG, up to 15 MB). Make sure the registered name and TIN are readable.
How to get your Mayor's Permit
The Mayor's Permit (also called a Business Permit) is issued by the city or municipality where you operate. It must be for the CURRENT year — it is renewed every January. 1. Go to the Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO) of your city or municipality. Many LGUs now let you apply or renew online — check your local government website. 2. Typical requirements: your DTI or SEC certificate, BIR registration, Barangay Business Clearance, and proof of location (lease contract or, if you own it, tax declaration). 3. Pay the assessed local fees. The LGU issues your Business Permit and the plate/sticker for the year. Requirements and fees vary by LGU, so your city hall is the best source of the exact list. Upload the current-year permit (PDF, JPG, or PNG, up to 15 MB).
How to prepare your bank account proof
This shows you control a real payout account under your business identity. It is a trust check — Setnayan does not hold your money, and the deposit-verification step only starts once Setnayan Pay is live. Your proof just needs to clearly show three things: 1. The account holder name — this should match your DTI/SEC business name (or your own name if you are a sole proprietor). 2. The provider — the bank name, or GCash / Maya. 3. The account number (you may mask the middle digits). What counts as valid proof: - GCash or Maya: a screenshot of your in-app Profile / "My Account" page showing your name and number. - Bank: a screenshot of your account details in the banking app, a bank certificate, the header of a bank statement, or a photo of your passbook cover. You do NOT need to show your balance or transaction history — feel free to blur those. Upload a screenshot or PDF (up to 15 MB).
Build your online presence: Instagram, YouTube & Vimeo
Couples check who you are before they message you. A few good public links do more than any sales pitch — here is a simple setup that works for most Filipino suppliers. 1. Get a Business (or Creator) Instagram. Couples browse Instagram first, so this is the one to start with. If you already have a personal account, you do not need a new one — open the app, go to Settings and privacy > Account type and tools > Switch to professional account, and pick Business or Creator. That unlocks insights and a contact button, and keeps your work and personal life separate. 2. Post your best work, not all of it. 9 to 12 strong photos or a short reel say more than 100 random shots. Add your city and what you do to your bio. 3. Start a YouTube channel for the long pieces. Full films, highlight reels, and behind-the-scenes clips live well here with no time limit. Create one free at https://youtube.com and upload a couple of your best videos. 4. Use Vimeo for a clean, ad-free reel. If you want your portfolio to look premium — no ads, no "up next" clutter — Vimeo is worth it. Make a free account at https://vimeo.com and upload one polished showcase video. 5. Bring it all back to Setnayan. On your supplier profile, paste your YouTube and Vimeo links into Featured Videos (they play right on your page), and add every public link — Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Vimeo — under your social links. That way a couple sees your whole story in one place, without leaving Setnayan to go hunting. You do not need all of these on day one. Even one good link helps. Start with Instagram, add the rest as you go.
Guest list
Filipino wedding roles
V1 ships 18 canonical roles: maid/matron of honor, best man, bridesmaids, groomsmen, principal sponsors, candle/veil/cord/coin sponsors, ring/bible/coin bearers, flower girl, officiant, lectors, soloists, and generic guest. Each is assignable from the Add Guest form.
How plus-ones work
When you tick "Allow plus-one" on a guest, Setnayan creates a second guest row linked to the primary. The +1 has its own QR code and can RSVP independently. If the +1 is TBA, either the guest names them on their own reply card, or the +1 names themselves the first time they open their invitation.
Import guests from CSV
On the Guests page, hit "Import CSV". Paste your spreadsheet (max 200 rows per import). Required columns: first_name, last_name. Optional: side, role, group_category, email, mobile, meal_preference, plus_one_allowed. Bad rows are flagged; valid rows insert atomically.
Invitation site
What's the invitation site?
The public URL at setnayan.com/[your-slug] is where every invitation goes. Guests land here when they tap their personal link or scan their QR. The site shows your event details, an RSVP form, countdown, venue map, dress code, and more.
Customize the QR monogram
From the Invitation tab → Branding section. The monogram is the text in the center of every guest's QR code (default: first letter of each side joined by &, e.g. "M & J"). Override the text and pick an accent color. Every guest's QR rebuilds instantly.
Print the QR sheet
From the Invitation admin, click "Print sheet" — opens an A4 grid with each guest's branded QR + name + role. Print at 100% scale, no margins. Cut along the dashed lines or fold into card inserts.
Re-issue a guest's QR code
If a guest loses their link or shares it, you can invalidate the old token. On the Invitation admin, find the guest row → "Re-issue token". Old QR stops working immediately; new QR is ready to share.
Suppliers & budget
Track a supplier
On the Vendors page, click Add a vendor. Pick a category from the 28 standard options (or pick "Miscellaneous" for anything off-list). Set a total cost + deposit if you have them. Vendors move through a 6-stage flow: considering → shortlisted → contracted → deposit paid → delivered → complete.
Budget line items
On the Budget page, each supplier card has two columns. Left: itemized line items (Deposit, Balance, Tip, etc.) with optional due dates. Right: actual payments you've logged. Stats at the top roll up total budget, paid, remaining, and what's due in the next 30 days.
Export budget due dates to your calendar
On the Budget page header, click "Export upcoming dates (.ics)". You get an RFC 5545 calendar file with one event per unpaid line-item due date. Import to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook — any standard ICS-aware app.
Mood Board
Palette tiers
Mood Board groups your palettes into three families: Venue (Ceremony 1-3 colors, Reception 3-5 in named slots — dominant, supporting, accent, neutral, accent 2), Couple (Bride 1-3, Groom 1-3), and Roles (Wedding Party 3-6, Sponsors 1-3 each, Plain guests 3-6). Every starter theme fills all five reception slots. Role palettes only show when you have guests in that role.
How the palette shows up in the guest list
Each role chip in the Guest List grows a small colored dot when you've set a palette for that role. The dot shows the first color of the palette as a visual signal — see the full palette on the Mood Board page.
Messaging
Start a thread with a supplier
Tap Message on a supplier in your Suppliers list, or Inquire on any shop's page — Setnayan opens the conversation for you, and the shop replies in your Messages. Everything you agree stays with your event. (If you already know the email on a shop's Setnayan profile, you can also type it on the Messages tab.) Re-opening a thread between the same event + supplier resumes the existing conversation — no duplicates. Only couples can open new threads — suppliers reply to threads couples started.
Suppliers don't see your email
When a supplier opens a thread, they see only your event's display name and date — never your email or personal name. You control how you're identified by the display_name you set on your event. This is locked behavior in V1.
Suppliers: how the reply-only inbox works
Your /vendor-dashboard/messages inbox lists every thread a couple has opened with you. You can reply to any thread, attach files, and share quotes. You cannot start a thread cold — couples have to reach out first. This protects them from unsolicited DMs.
Orders & payments
How to order a Setnayan service
Open the Orders tile from Home. Hit "New order", describe what you need, and propose a budget. The Setnayan team reviews and confirms the price; you receive a notification with the confirmed total and a reference code.
How payments work
Once your order is quoted, the order detail page shows payment instructions. Send the amount via BDO or GCash (merchant details emailed once your order is confirmed). Always include the reference code in transfer notes so we can match it automatically. Then log the payment on the same order page with the bank reference + a screenshot URL.
Reference codes
Every order has a short reference code (looks like SNAB12CD34). It's how Setnayan matches your bank transfer to your order. Paste it into the transfer notes — bank statements ingest it automatically and admin reconciles within one business day.
Account & privacy
Switch your dashboard theme
On Profile, pick one of five themes — Setnayan Default (burgundy), Victorian, Classy, iOS, Forest & Champagne Gold. The whole dashboard re-skins instantly. Public invitation site stays on Setnayan Default regardless.
Export your data
On Profile → Privacy & data → "Download .json". You get a JSON file with your profile, event memberships, supplier profile (if any), and every chat message you authored. Audit log, R2 media, and payment records aren't in V1 (flagged in the export).
Delete your account
On Profile → Privacy & data → expand the Delete my account block → type DELETE to confirm. We soft-delete the account and sign you out. Internal admins can restore within 30 days; after that, deletion becomes permanent. RA 10173 right-to-erasure compliant.
Got an invite?
How to open your Setnayan invite
Scan the QR code on your invitation card with your phone's camera. It opens your personal page at setnayan.com/e/[the-couple-slug]/g/[your-code]. Bookmark it — that's your one place for everything about the event (schedule, venue, RSVP, your seat).
How to RSVP
Tap the RSVP button on your personal page. Pick Yes, No, or Maybe. If your invite allows a plus-one, add their name. You can change your answer up to the couple's RSVP cutoff (usually 1-2 weeks before).
Meal preferences and dietary notes
If the couple is asking about meals (regular, vegetarian, halal, etc.), pick yours when you RSVP. It feeds into the caterer's count so there's something for you on the day. There's a free-text note for allergies or "I cannot have shellfish".
I lost my invite link
Reach out to the couple — they can re-issue your QR from the Invitation admin. Your old link stops working immediately and you get a fresh one. Setnayan support cannot share invite links directly; the couple controls the guest list.
On the day
Find your seat
From T-1 hour on the wedding day, your personal page shows a 'Your table' card with the table number, a small venue map, and (if uploaded) a seat photo. No need to ask the host — open the page and head straight there.
What's happening right now
The Live schedule card auto-advances as the day moves — ceremony, cocktails, dinner, dances, send-off. You always know what's next and roughly when. Available T-1 hour to T+8 hours.
Share photos with the couple
If the couple has Photo Wall enabled, your phone becomes a photo uploader. Upload from your camera roll or take a new shot — it lands in the couple's gallery for everyone to enjoy. Optional and you can delete anything you uploaded.
Papic — candid photos
What is Papic?
Papic turns the phones at your wedding into candid cameras. You get one pot of credits for the whole event, and any guest can shoot from it — they scan your event QR and start, with no limit on how many phones join in. Your first celebration starts with 50 credits free, so you can try it before deciding to add any. If you want to be sure someone in particular never runs out, you can set aside some of your credits for their camera alone, where nobody else can spend them; when those run out, that camera simply carries on from the shared pot. Cameras themselves are free and you can make as many as you like. Every shot lands in your private gallery, each guest can find the photos they're in, and there's no app to install — it all runs in the browser.
How do I turn on Papic and hand out cameras?
Open your dashboard → Studio → Papic. It's already on: every wedding gets one free camera of its own, and your first celebration also starts with a free pool of credits — so there is nothing to buy before you try it. To let guests shoot, share your event QR — any phone that scans it shoots from the shared pool, and there's no limit on how many join. To give one person their own camera, hand them that camera's link (or QR) from the same page; their credits come out of that camera's own balance, not the shared pool, so they can't be used up by anyone else. You can hand a camera to someone else at any time, and top up either the shared pool or a single camera whenever you want — current prices are on setnayan.com/pricing.
How do my photos get matched to the right guests?
Two ways, both automatic. (1) Face matching: guests who add a selfie are recognized in candid shots, and those photos appear in their 'Photos of you'. (2) QR scan: your crew can scan a guest's invitation QR or a table sign to mark who's in a shot. Either way, every photo reaches your gallery — tagged or not. Face matching is private and per-wedding: a guest's face data is never shared or reused across events, and it only works with the guest's consent.
Where do I find and download all my Papic photos?
Dashboard → Studio → Papic → Gallery. Every candid from your crew and guests is there — filter by 'Photos of us', videos, or untagged. Save any photo to your phone with one tap, or use 'Download all' to pull the whole gallery as a zip. You can also connect Google Drive to auto-sync everything to your own Drive.
Guest: how do I take candid photos for the couple?
If the couple turned on guest cameras, open your invitation link and tap 'Be a candid camera'. Point and shoot — every photo lands straight in the couple's gallery in real time. No sign-in, no app. You have a set number of shots; the counter shows how many you have left. After a shot you can also tell the couple the story behind it.
Guest: how do I make sure I get my photos? (add your face)
When you RSVP, tap 'Add your photo' and take one selfie (you'll be asked to agree first — it's optional). That lets the candid photos of you find their way to you automatically, under 'Photos of you' on your page. On the wedding day you can also add it from the 'Add your face' card if you skipped it. No selfie? You'll still get any photo where the crew scans your invitation QR.
Guest: where do I find the photos I'm in?
On the wedding day (from about an hour before it starts), open your personal invitation page and look for 'Photos of you — so far'. As the crew and guests shoot, the photos you're in collect there through the day — and they're yours to keep afterward. You show up there once you've added a selfie, or once someone scans your invitation QR onto a photo.
Crew: I was asked to shoot — how does it work?
The couple sent you a camera link. Open it on your phone and tap to claim it — your phone is now a candid camera for their wedding. Shoot photos and clips of up to 10 seconds; everything uploads to their gallery automatically. Your camera shows how many shots it has left, and the couple can top it up. To mark who's in a shot, tap 'Tag who's in it' and hold a guest's place-card QR or a table sign in frame — no typing. If you don't tag, the photo still reaches the couple.
How do I make sure one person never runs out of shots?
Set some of your credits aside for their camera. Everything you buy goes into one pot that every guest shoots from, which is usually what you want — but a few enthusiastic guests can spend a lot of it, and you might have someone in mind who you'd rather not have run dry: the cousin who actually frames a photo, or your maid of honour. On your Papic page, find their camera and type how many shots are theirs alone. Those leave the shared pot and nobody else can touch them. If they don't use them all, you can take the unused ones back at any time — just type a smaller number. And if they DO use them all, their camera doesn't stop: it carries on from the shared pot like everyone else's. So setting shots aside is a guarantee, never a limit. Cameras are free and you can make as many as you like, so there's no cost to giving several people their own.
How do shots work, and how do I add more?
Everything Papic captures is counted in shots. 1 photo = 1 credit, and a snippet (10 seconds) = 8 credits — a clip costs more because it is a lot more to keep. They come out of one purse, so there's no separate photo and video allowance to juggle: shoot more clips and you'll get fewer photos out of the same balance, which is why we don't promise you an exact number of each. Every wedding gets one free camera with credits of its own, and your first celebration also starts with a free shared pool. When something runs low, top it up from your dashboard → Studio → Papic: add to the shared pool for the whole celebration, or reload one camera on its own. Top-ups stack on whatever your wedding already holds — they never replace it — and current prices are on setnayan.com/pricing. Live Studio — streaming your day
Is my YouTube channel ready to live stream? (check this first)
Live Studio sends your celebration to YOUR OWN YouTube channel, so that channel has to be switched on for live streaming before the day. The first time you turn it on, YouTube takes about 24 hours to activate it. Nobody can speed that up — not us, not YouTube support — so do this now, even if your celebration is a year away. It costs nothing and it never expires. HOW TO CHECK, in under a minute: 1. Sign in to YouTube on the account whose channel you want to stream on. If you have more than one channel, make sure you are on the right one — check the profile picture in the top corner. 2. Go to https://www.youtube.com/features 3. Find "Live streaming" in the list. If it says ENABLED, you are ready and there is nothing more to do. IF IT IS NOT ENABLED YET: 1. On that same page, click to enable it. YouTube will ask you to verify your channel with a phone number — you get a code by text or voice call and type it in. This is free. 2. After verifying, live streaming usually switches on within about 24 hours. Check the same page again the next day. 3. You also need to have had no live-streaming restrictions on the channel in the last 90 days, and to be at least 16 years old. ABOUT THE "50 SUBSCRIBERS" RULE YOU MAY HAVE READ ABOUT: it is real, but it only applies to going live from the YouTube phone app. Live Studio streams from a computer, which has no subscriber requirement at all. A brand-new channel with zero subscribers can stream your celebration.
How do I create the YouTube link for my live stream?
You make the broadcast on YouTube, and Setnayan sends the pictures to it. Do this in the last week before your celebration — not months ahead, because a broadcast left sitting for a long time can go stale. 1. Go to https://studio.youtube.com and click CREATE (the camera icon, top right), then GO LIVE. 2. Choose STREAMING SOFTWARE — not "Built-in webcam". This is the option that gives you the connection details Setnayan needs. 3. Give it a title (for example, your names), and set PRIVACY to UNLISTED. Unlisted means only people with the link can watch — it never appears in YouTube search or on your channel page. 4. Set "Made for kids" to NO, or live chat and some other features get switched off. 5. In the stream settings, choose ULTRA LOW LATENCY so people watching are only a few seconds behind the room, and switch ADS off so nothing interrupts. 6. You now see two things you need to keep apart: - The STREAM URL and STREAM KEY. These go into your streaming software. The stream key is a password for your channel — never share it, never paste it into Setnayan or anywhere else. - The WATCH LINK, from the Share button. It looks like youtube.com/watch?v=... This is the one you paste into Setnayan. 7. Open your dashboard, go to Studio, then Live Studio, and paste the watch link into the "How guests watch" box. Your celebration page will show a Watch Live player during the day. The short version: the stream key goes to your streaming software, and the watch link goes to Setnayan. Getting those two the wrong way round is the one mistake worth being careful about.
How do I make sure it will all work on the day?
Do a dry run, well before the day. It is the only way to be certain, because it tests everything at once: that your channel is really switched on for live streaming, that your streaming software can reach YouTube, and that Setnayan can show the result. 1. Make a test broadcast on YouTube, exactly as you would for the real thing, and set it to Unlisted. 2. Start your streaming software and send pictures to it. 3. Paste the watch link into Setnayan and open your celebration page on your phone. If you can see yourself, everything in the chain works. 4. When you are done, end the broadcast and delete the test video if you would rather not keep it. A dry run also proves the 24-hour activation has finished, which is the single thing most likely to go wrong on the day. Do it once, any time — a year ahead is fine — and you never have to wonder again.
What happens to the recording afterwards?
The broadcast is on your own YouTube channel, so the recording is yours. YouTube keeps it automatically as an unlisted video on your channel after the stream ends, and you download it from YouTube Studio whenever you like — go to your Content list, find the video, and use the download option in its menu. Because it lives on your channel and not ours, nobody else can take it down, and it is not affected by anything that happens to another couple. Keep the watch link saved in Setnayan and your celebration page can keep showing it afterwards.
Setnayan HQ basics
The 8 admin surfaces
/admin has 8 sections: Users, Suppliers, Orders, Reviews, Funnels, Force-majeure, Website editor, Verify queue. Each is gated to internal admins (`is_internal=TRUE` on your user row). The left sidebar persists across all 8.
Look up a user or supplier
Use the search bar on /admin/users or /admin/vendors. Search by name, email, public ID (S89U- / S89V- / S89E-), or partial slug. Click through to the full record — every action you take from there writes an audit row.
Read the audit log
Every meaningful admin action writes a row to `admin_audit_log` (actor user_id, target, action, before/after JSON, timestamp). View it from any user or supplier detail page → Audit tab. Use it when investigating "who did this and when".
Delete vs blacklist a user
Delete = soft-delete + 30-day restore window (RA 10173 right-to-erasure). Blacklist = permanent ban from re-signing-up with same email or device fingerprint, used for fraud. Pick delete by default; only blacklist after the abuse pattern is confirmed.
Two-admin approvals
What needs two-admin approval
Per Vendor Agreement § 9.1, major decisions need two admins. That means promoting a user to any admin role, adding an internal account, adding a team member to the shared pool, a comp grant above the § 9.1 retail limit, changing the BDO or GCash receiving account, a mid-quarter price change on any in-app SKU, force-delisting a vendor without the due-process timeline, refunding a single transaction above the § 9.1 limit, and re-publishing a previously rejected vendor application. Routine ops stay single-admin — payment reconciliation, approving a vendor verification queue item, comps and refunds at or below those limits, dispute mediation, review moderation and user lookup. Both limits are stated in § 9.1 itself, and the admin console names the exact figure at the moment you go over it.
Approve another admin's request
When another admin proposes a major action, you see it in your Approvals queue at /admin (bell counter). Open the proposal, read the rationale + linked evidence, click Approve or Reject. Both admins' identities are recorded permanently in the audit log.
Routine vs major — the rule of thumb
Routine = reversible by a single admin within 1 business day. Major = affects many users, has financial impact above the limits § 9.1 states, or touches public trust. When in doubt, route to two-admin. The cost of double-checking is small; the cost of an unreviewed major action can be very high.
Force-majeure escalations
Work the escalation queue
/admin/force-majeure lists every flagged event. Each row shows: couple display name, event date, flag type (typhoon, illness, venue closure, etc.), evidence files the couple uploaded, the affected suppliers, and the 7-day auto-resolution clock.
The 7-day auto-resolution window
When a force-majeure flag is filed, suppliers have 7 days to propose terms directly with the couple in chat. If a resolution lands within 7 days, the flag closes without admin involvement. If day 7 passes with no resolution, the flag escalates to admin and shows up in your queue with an "ESCALATED" tag.
Four canonical resolution paths
Refund (supplier returns deposit minus documented expenses), reschedule (services move to a mutually agreed new date), substitute (supplier provides equivalent service later), partial (some services delivered, some refunded). Pick one in the Resolve dialog; both parties get an email with the outcome.
